Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for more than ten decades. She was part as captain of both the US Olympic women's gymnastics team The Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). In the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals for floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze medal on the balance beam. It made her the first American gymnast in the Olympics with the highest number of medals. Her gold medal at the Olympics in 2016 was the second consecutive gold medal for the US team. This made her, along with fellow teammate Gabby the first Americans - to achieve this achievement. Also, she received silvers in individual all around and floor exercises. After the 2002 Olympics, she was off for three years from gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of the gold-winning American team at the two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began when she was two and her favorite event is floor exercise. Aly has enrolled in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandma. She hopes to become an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden her line of leotards and socks in the very near future. Fierce will be out at the end of summer.
